This is my entry to 's contest i had sooo many ideas for this contest but i could get none of them to work on paper! and this is what i decided i should do. it is a traditional painting, but i threw quite a few photoshop effects on it, everything i sourced from google.
i know the character is'nt drawn correctly for, i guess, the "style" but i used a photo reference and the guy was pretty short ._.
I guess i kinda took some influence from Avatar cause he looks like a fire bender X3 hehe! the symbols around him mean fire which i also found on google. ooh and i used some brushes..uhhh i'll liknk them when i find the links again XD

This is a nice piece. I think the flames have an interesting look to them. I like how the flames were arranged into an arch and that they are coming from his hands. The old style paper look is nice too. I think the flame halo is cool too.
