I notice there are a few different levels in this one; it's not just positive space/negative space, there are one or two half-way shades too, this time. That adds a surprising amount of depth to the picture. It gives it an eerie feeling, like this shelf is partially swallowed in fog or something. Very creepy.

The gradient background that goes from a warm yellow-green to a cool turquoise works really well here too, though I really can't tell if that was intentional or just a side-effect of how it was shot. Whichever it was, keep it, because it really works.

The shapes your cutting and adding to these comps are getting a lot more detailed; there's much more precision and fidelity in all the little bits and shapes you add.

I like this one. I can see what you mean when you said you did this for fun: it's so obvious that you were enjoying yourself when you created this piece. ^^

thanks! yea I used two different weights of paper and colour,
the different shade of colour in the background was a total accident,
but I agree I'm really happy with it, I think to quote Bob Ross
it was an "happy accident" :P
I was trying to get a lot of stuff going on in the piece, like bottles
dripping onto lower shelves etc. :)
I think its a little too blurry and need a re shoot, but I'm happy with it so far :)

Thanks for the great comment :)!
